Ibrahim Gokcen has spent the last 25 years transforming businesses of all sizes using software, AI/ML and launching new products, services and businesses. He is currently the Managing Partner of Velocis Digital, LLC, a US-based management consulting and strategy execution company focused on scaling early-stage and medium-sized companies and expanding their operations globally. Ibrahim is also the Enterprise Entrepreneur-in-Residence for Watr Protocol (a Polkadot parachain) helping web2 enterprises with physical assets move to web3 computing platforms, ecosystems and business models. In addition to these roles he invests in startups as an angel and VCs as an LP and serves on the boards of public, private and non-profit companies across the globe. Prior to these roles Ibrahim was the global digital CTO of Schneider Electric, the leading energy management and industrial automation company. Prior to that, he was the global Chief Digital Officer of A. P. Moller Maersk, the leading transportation and logistics company. Ibrahim also spent more than a decade at GE in various leadership roles in the US and EMEA. Ibrahim is a software engineer by training and has a PhD in AI.
