Pivoted during COVID to enable/equip large-scale remote workforce. Oversaw resilient platform development that supported rapid deployment of ~$300B Payroll Protection Program (PPP) and Economic Injury Disaster Loans.

Guided development of President’s cybersecurity strategy for Federal government. Launched FedRAMP program which standardized security assessment, authorization, and monitoring for cloud-based platforms.

Provided leadership input for development of President’s $90B IT budget request. Modernized SBA’s core financial services delivery for its $200B+ loan portfolio, leveraging fintech industry best practices.

Reversed SBA’s 10+ year technology stagnation and $50M technical debt. In <4 years, streamlined operations, modernized technology, and cut deficit, creating an agile organization equipped to respond to COVID-19 crisis.

Secured Federal-wide CIO Council’s buy-in to launch interagency collaboration capabilities. Provided strategic direction for analysis and modernized approach to Capital Planning and Investment Management.

Mentored and inspired next-generation technology/STEM leaders to ideate, communicate openly, and take prudent risks in support of mission. Sponsored learning initiatives for staff, catalyzing career advancement.

Served as Executive Sponsor for Federal Data Strategy and Chief Data Officers’ Council; championed development and execution of Federal government’s 10-year data strategy.
